Pretty good beer. Rather soulless. Some of the clientele leave a lot to be desired. Too many chumps blocking the bar. There was nearly a fight last time we were there. A bloke old enough to know better talked through the minute silence at the start of the rugby international. When told to be quiet, his response was " l did my minute earlier"! . At half-time he was asked to apologise and it that's when it nearly kicked off. Pathetic.

Bit busy for me. Good range of real ale. Good for watching sports. Visited during a rugby match, was very very busy and very very noisy. Call me boring, I like chairs, tables an environment were you can have a conversation. If it was empty or quiet, I'd give it four stars.

One of the more modern bars but still a period building. Nice place.

Used to frequent this place as a youngster. Changed quite a bit. Offers some interesting beers.
