Food was okay, nice selection and clearly an experimental and enthusiastic chef. Sweet potato fries were amazing! Wine list was extensive and really good however young (possibly bar manager) guy who served didnt know a thing about it and took ages to bring it over. He was inattentive and easily distracted throughout the meal, spent ages wondering round on phone and looking in the mirror. We found this strange as it was a surprisingly quiet saturday night. Woman on bar was lovely and friendly and knew what she was doing, wish shed served us! Nice atmosphere and decor. Just a shame about staff!

Don't take too much notice of the poor reveiws, i stayed the night here and found the room clean and modern. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and found the food very good and as i was only on a work trip kept to the "three courses for £14.95 which was great value, very well cooked and presented. I would definitely come again.

New owner is very passionate and has revived this little french treasure to its former glory. Great food. Staff attentive and passionate. All round good place.

We have just had a fab meal. There was a great atmosphere and the service was superb.
