Good range of ales tries to keep its traditional pub feel but always looks and feels sticky and looks like a refurb is well overdue. Prices are reasonable. Don't like the split entrance as it doesn't feel very welcoming. Layout is a little awkward and doesn't seem the most accessible place especially to the rear garden. Not many places to sit or stand when it gets busy as the bar takes a lot of space. Food is OK and the place sometimes puts good events on during the summer.

Just walking the dogs through the park until they play constant fireworks dogs was off the lead dog tried to go in the road as he is scared of loud noiseso they don't care about anything else except them self's so maybe they should do fireworks somewhere else my dogs was so frightened I had to run after them lucky I got them another bloke in the park was walking there dog through the park and that dog was frightened which ran off god knows where which is very sad so I will get in touch with the police to see if they are allowed to do it
