Family get together so booked a table for 11 on Saturday. Drinks ordered at the bar & staff bought them to the table. Food order was taken well & wasn't too long a wait considering it was very busy. All food was delicious & thoroughly enjoyed!!
Had a lovely lunch time meal with my 92 years old mother , staff were friendly , attentive and welcoming , we didn't wait very long between ordering. food and service .nGood atmosphere and view of the garden, It looks as a very popular eating establishment as more people came in. Food was great reasonably priced , Would definitely visit again.
We had a fantastic afternoon, such a warm welcome by Russell and excellent service from Russell and Zoe.nThe food was delicious- it was a welcome change to get small portions for a smaller price, instead of having to pay through the nose for large portions you don’t want.nWe had our “Cuzzies reunion” here in 2018 and returned today. We are so glad we did, we cannot rate their service highly enough!nNothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much Russell and staff
Oh dear. Up until recently we've loved eating here, the roasts had been exceptional. Sadly a recent change in chef and afraid one of the worst roasts I've ever seen served yesterday. The first platter arrived with anaemic potatoes and parsnips looking like they'd not been near the oven. The beef and chicken were over cooked, the pork passable. The gravy killed it off completely, weak and runny. To top it all off, the platter was cold. Excellent service team who quickly apologised and arranged a fresh platter. Sadly the second platter exactly the same, so we unfortunately paid for drinks only and left. I wasn't impressed by the look of some of the other dishes coming out to tables either. Massive shame as the previous chef was amazing. Will still swing by for an occasional pint but not to eat anymore. Once again though, all serving team were lovely and working very hard.
Lovely anniversary lunchnMore gluten free options for both mains and puddings which is greatnDelicious fish pie followed by really good brownie.nExcellent service. Recommended.
