We absolutely loved this place. Heart and soul of Mousehole, very friendly staff, drinks were served with a smile and warmest of greetings. The food was 1st class!! Especially the fish and chips. Can't wait to return!!! Thanks Guys for making our New Year!! We all really appreciated your good service and excellent food. Top pub x
A very nice friendly pub. Stayed in Mousehole for a week in January and visited the Ship a few times, each time we were made very welcome, took two dogs with us as well. Good range of drinks, some nice beers! Some visits were just for a couple of drinks, and some to eat dinner. Good quality food and well prepared. Definitely recommend!
Great spot. Views from bedroom great. Food not special but fine. Pub nice but only 2 or 3 ales to choose from
Had a two night cosy break Check their website great value for money. Stayed just before Christmas when Mousehole put on their Christmas lights Had a view of the harbour from our room which was spotlessly clean. Food was tasty and staff were friendly and welcoming.
Lovely pub nice food and friendly staff. A little overpriced is my only criticism. I would definitely go back as the location and place itself sells it.
I was supposed to visit Mousehole in April of 2020. I think I’d been craving this fish and chips since then. It did not disappoint. So delicious, only complaint is that my stomach isn’t big enough to let me finish the generous portions!
Thanks, we had a lovely meal here, really enjoyed the mussels. Also enjoyed a few drinks a couple of times at the Ship Inn, during our stay in Mousehole. Great little place to sit and watch the world go by right next to the harbour. Definitely recommend to everyone. Not quite back to normal when we visited due to staff shortages etc but we had a great time here and didn't affect our enjoyment. It does get busy so book meals well in advance.
Stayed here just the one night, location perfect,our room looking out on the harbour, a nice room small bathroom which is understandable in an old property evening meal ok great breakfast
Welcoming . warm friendly staff True Cornish pub selling local real ale and gins. Honestly the best place to be on a wet afternoon in December
We stayed here for a couple of days and had a great time. The only downside is parking - there are two small car parks nearby but these fill up quickly so it's a case of go out for a day trip and get back after 6 or just walk as getting back in the afternoon means a struggle to park. Everything else about our stay was positive - the staff were fabulous, good wifi, and a good location right next to the harbour. The room was quiet and the pub dealt with covid requirements in a safe but unobtrusive way. Food in the evenings was very good - well presented, good portion sizes and good value. Breakfast was also excellent with very efficient and lovely staff.
