I have been a patient at Shakespeare St. Practice for the past 3 years. The team at Shakespeare have excellent listening and communication skills, giving clear information about treatment options. They have been quick to respond to a couple of incidents that needed urgent appointments.  I have been grateful for the option to choose to have a filling privately where there has been possible, quotations sent by email in advance allowing me to make informed choices.   I was a very nervous patient in the past but the dentist has helped me feel positive as I have grown in  confidence in her care.  I have got to the point that I pro-actively want to book regular check ups and feel more confident that I am up to date with my oral care.  I appreciate the matter-of-fact manner of the dentist, she has made me feel more confident about attending.I would recommend the practice to anyone.

Sara has been my dentist for many years. Very professional with a friendly personality. Find the whole experience of going to a dentist very daunting but Sara understands and helps me relax. Would definitely recommend this practice.

I have received dental treatment from Sara for many years and have always been completely satisfied.She is both friendly and professional, taking an interest in her patients and making a visit to the dentist as good an experience as possible. Carol is a great receptionist and always has a smile and a friendly word for everyone. I have always been able to get an appointment quickly when I needed one. I would definitely recommend this dental practice which is so conveniently situated in the city center.

Having had a bad experience at my previous practice after my usual dentist left, I decided to visit my husband's dentist in the hope it would restore my confidence. I found the receptionist to be very friendly & helpful & when it came to sitting in the dreaded dentist's chair, I was quickly put at ease with Sara being very understanding about my previous experience. She explained what she was going to do & gave my teeth a thorough check-up without any fuss. I left with my confidence in the dental profession restored - I will be back.

The five star rating is 'Loved it',  but does anyone love going to the dentist ?  I have been going to this dentist for many years because I have had excellent treatment there.  Situated centrally in Newcastle it's easy to get there. The premises are clean and the receptionist welcoming.  The dentist is friendly, helpful, explains everything she is doing and always completes the treatment efficiently, painlessly and speedily. In my youth there was no fluoride so my teeth have often needed repair. I rarely have to return until the next 6 monthly check up. Thank you for keeping me smiling.

Sara was great. She is confident, experienced, friendly and very happy to keep me informed on my treatment. The work was done without discomfort and results have been excellent. The surgery is located in the city centre which is very convenient for me.

I joined Shakespeare St practice Nov 2017. The staff are really brilliant, very friendly and understanding, the dentist is great she is very gentle compared to a lot of previous dentists I've had - I had three fillings in one go and honestly it was a total breeze with this dentist. Very professional I'm so glad I joined.

Highly recommended. Sara dealt with some problems left by my previous dentist in the first couple of sessions and I have continued to travel from London to Newcastle twice a year since 2006 as a result. I feel in good hands and my fear of a trip to the dentist is a thing of the past.

The dentist was extremely RUDE, UNHELPFUL and simply DIDNT CARE! Would NOT recommend this place to an animal let alone human being...  There is only 1 dentist in the practice thus I assume it is Sara Goodman. Her scale and polish lasted 2 minutes MAX!  She did not want to discuss treatment options, was ABRUPT and had very POOR communication skills...  I would avoid this practice if you can... Would rather have toothache than be treated like ****.

Excellent dentist. I have been going here for more than ten years, I used to be afraid of the dentist but not now, Sara always explains everything and is very gentle, highly recommended
