I've been coming to this practice for over 11years. It's clean and bright with comfortable waiting area. All of the staff are very friendly and the dentists have been very proactive in helping me to look after my teeth. Extra grateful recently for getting a prompt appointment when I had a problem. Thoroughly recommendable. Thanks.

Recommend. Excellent dentist with lots of experience and,  crucially, empathy. I urge people to not miss appointments as these excellent dentists will be forced to stop serving the NHS community; they will be missed!

Highly recommend this practice, I have made two visits recently and the team are first class. The practice is clean, comfortable, time keeping excellent and communication was really good. For anyone looking for a new practice in the city centre, this is a great choice.

Got a text to do this review so here i am. Great service and patient care by the dentist and dental nurses aswlel as reception. Only gripe is that the toilets have changed to staff only. Not so good for me with having a medical condition which means i ciuld with out warning need to leave no matter how early to go b4 setting off as suggested. With this my 2 children dental apps wont happen after the scho anymore due to by time i leave work get to school then to the chidminders to the dentist or visa versa takes 2 hours witha mix of walking and buses. Again no matter how early and b4 setting off as one child autistic and with sensory so a toilet needs to be at hand and a toddler who is toilet training. I do understand why they have done this but really need to re think this due to patient care and  the reasons mentioned abive as i wont be the only one facing this issue! Other thsn this everything else is good.

Extremely efficient and very good service always polite and I love the fact the Dentists are women this is the first time I've had a female Denist and I wouldn't swap for the world. Great experience every visit.

dont waste your time if you are having gums problems and you are trying to get dentures, 2 years ago i been diagnosed with blood cancerAML and because i had a full series of infections in my mouthgums&tongue i had to get dentures, i went to NCD thinking it is a decent dental practice in newcastle and not one as profesional as ndc claims to be, i called the newcastle branch on march 2021 thinking im gonna get the right treatment and dentures regarding the fact that i had gums mutations because of the severe infections that kept me in ICU for a month and 1 week, they said that newcastle branch is to busy so they sent me to south shields branchi live in wallsend so it was quite a journey getting there due to the fact i dont drive dr. sammy had a very quick look at my gums and then took the impressions and made me a denture that i was very bulky with a way bigger set of teeth for my mouth, and in the moment i was trying to eat the dentures would come off despite the fact i was using a lot of denture adhesiveas advised by him its been 2 years since i was going back and forwards to south shield WITHOUT a single result, now they are saying they want to refer me to newcastle dental hospitalto wait another year before getting anything done and refund me the travel money, thing they said for two weeks now and keep telling me to go back to south shields, i paid £1600 and all they gave me was a A4 paper as a receipt, dont waste your time and money on a dental practice that pretend to be professional

I had to cancel my dental appointment last minute due to a work emergency, and despite explaining the situation, the staff insisted on a 24-hour notice, a policy I was unaware of. The person I spoke to mentioned calling me back but never did. A week later, when I attempted to schedule an emergency appointment, I was informed that I had been deregistered without any notification. Despite my efforts to seek clarification, they couldn't explain the lack of communication. Additionally, they refused the option to go private since I missed the NHS appointment due to the emergency.  To sum up, missing an appointment, even with a valid reason and notification, resulted in being removed from the practice, so it's advisable to be cautious before registering there.

Feel well looked after at this dental practice. Very caring professional service

Very impressed with my visit, very thorough check up and X-rays taken,  I need some treatment but feel confident that they have my best interest.  Everything was explained. And I was asked if I had any questions or concerns.  Receptionist was brilliant and very friendly. All the staff were really good. Thank you
