Horrible experience. The dentist messed up my root canal treatment so badly that after 2 years I started having severe pain in that tooth, requiring a second root canal treatment to fix the botched up job by this dentist. Called them to have an appointment but they didn't even listen. And after 3 more years of on and off pain, the infection in the root canal was so bad that had to extract that tooth. Xray revealed the dentist even left a tiny part of the instrument in my root canal leading to dental granuloma. I regret the day I went to this horrible dentist.
Couldn’t be happier with my experience at st Mary’s. Unbelievable service from Stacey who helped me all the way up until my appointment, both Simmi and Rachel were amazing once I was in and made me feel at ease the whole time. Very happy with the outcome and our care plan going forward.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this practice left me feeling very put out. I had “quick straight teeth” with them several years ago and since lost my retainer. The service I got when I was there was great. I emailed to ask if they still had my records on file I would understand if not so I could pay for a new retainer. I was polite in my emails but the ones I got back were so unprofessional and unfriendly, and weren’t signed off by anyone so I never knew who I was even speaking to. They first told me “the lab has to search through thousands of files!!!!” as if someone would really be searching through each and every file? After not hearing from them for weeks I emailed to say please at least let me know if this request wouldn’t be feasible so I could at least look elsewhere to get them done, and no response. This was months ago. They made me feel like I was pestering them. Totally uninterested and such an unfriendly service.
They said 20 years ago I need a root canel. I refused and just wanted a filling. After 20 years of no pain the filling needed replacing I've just had the tooth taken out rather than have the filling replaced. No evidence of infection probably never needed the filling in the first place.
Such a good practice. Everyone was really friendly, the dentist was great. Got seen instantly and managed to get a hygienist appointment straight afterwards without having to wait around. Exceptional.
The worst receptionist, I called them 5 days of a week to get an appointment, but they said no call back tomorrow morning again, it is the most worst dental practice that I have seen in my life
The practice couldn’t get any better! The staff are all so so friendly and professional. They really put your mind at ease, especially if you’re someone who gets anxious when going to the dentist. It’s not often you find a practice that actually cares but they really do at St Mary’s. They work hard to provide the best possible care and help you as much as possible. I couldn’t recommend this practice more!!
Very poor communication and very unprofessional! Went there to sort my cheeks out as there were uneven so they said they can’t do it and they recommended “washing and filling” I was happy because I thought the filling was for my uneven cheeks. Went for my appointment and then the woman started injecting my gum without letting me know what she was up to, it was when I told her that, a particular gum hurts so bad that she told me that, that’s an injection and that I should let go of my hand or I will injure myself like seriously? who does that! You need to put me through what you’re doing to my mouth woman! Meanwhile I don’t even know what filling is, have never done it before neither have I seen who it has been done to and boom you started doing whatever you like with my mouth without any explanation Long story short, I cried my eyes out that day because that filling complicated things and it made my face more uneven than before. I regret ever going to that practice because my confidence is 0% now Reply: You think I would’ve agreed to that if you had explained to me that the filling was scrapping my teeth on the other side of my cheeks? And as it stands now I find it difficult and painful eating anything since after the so called filling. That side of the cheek has been my saviour because that’s the only side I chew with ever since a tooth was extracted from my right cheek which I had told you on my first visit. I wasn’t experiencing any pain or problems on those teeth or tooth not until after the whole filling drama even up till this moment I still don’t know what was done on my teeth neither do I know which of the tooth/teeth that was filled or don’t I supposed to know which teeth/tooth that was going to be filled and what the filling was all about?!
Great practice. Lovely staff. Harpal the dentist is fantastic and a really nice guy. No issues getting appointments - I have waited 2-3 weeks for routine things and been seen at short notice for things that can’t wait. Can’t fault my experience
I've had poor experiences at this dentist - poor quality work problems with fillings soon after being done and poor communication. I was also told I had been referred to a specialist and was on a waiting list, but I never received confirmation of this and nothing has ever materialised two years on!. I've now moved dentists and am much happier!
