Lovely little place. The team are so friendly. We had the fish platter & mussels which were beautiful and several cheeky glasses of wine. I wasn't drinking wine in the last photo I promise! That was 0630hrs
Wonderful restaurant. Sat in a beach hut and had the fisherman's board. All family members loved their food. Brilliant location, service and drank Iow cider. Would recommend. Hidden gem.
One of the best seafood meals of my life, the fisherman's platter was delicious. It was fresh and eating it in a beach hut next to the sea was magical. Awesome food and family memories. Kid-friendliness: My children were welcomed and they loved the food and experience. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread available
There are two ways to get to this little gem. Via the esplanade walk/mobility scooter or down some sea cliff steps. With a tiny sunny deck and three shady little beach huts it's perfect for a drink, treat or food. The pot of fresh mussels are an excellent choice. And the fresh baked bread, ploughman's and sandwiches are delicious. Sea views make this place fabulous. Uncrowded, seaside haven in Ventnor.
Great spot for drinks and ice cream, they do food too! Loved their Rose wine. Card payments accepted and they have wc too.
What a great place for food and drink, lovely staff, a great variety coupled with good portions, good quality produce and reasonable prices. Also amazing location
You can't beat the position for a quick drink sitting in little sheds if a bit cold or too hot, plus tables and chairs, only a few yards from the sea. The down side it is not always open, and can be a bit hit and miss on opening.
Great location for a refreshing drink on a beautiful walk to monks bay! Unfortunately the sea mist rolled in but still warm! On a clear sunny day the views are incredible. Stopped here for a soft drink and a milkshake, however the owners have an extensive menu with a variety of drinks including alcoholic beverages. Toilet facilities available! Walk along here to monks bay. Whilst in the area / location you may see a lizard or 2! Nice
This is a beautiful spot with a serene view. Very relaxing sitting right next to the ocean while enjoying a coffee. Would definitely recommend for anyone passing by. We visited the Isle of wight with our friend that used to live locally and we where not disappointed. I had a ploughman's board and it was extremely delicious. 10/10 would recommend
One of my favourite spots to eat at in Ventnor. Just a moments walk along from the seafront and tucked away just a stones throw from the beach. Ordered the fisherman’s platter which was outstanding. Defiantly can recommend.
