The Pond Cafe opened in Bonchurch in 2005. It is a lovely and remarkable coincidence that the building and location was once a holiday destination to some of the worlds most prolific writers such as Charles Dickens, Alfred Lord Tennyson.
The Pond Cafe is an Italian restaurant, a bacaro if you will. This is a Venetian word to describe a humble restaurant serving simple food and good, young local wines.
