A Culinary Adventure Worth Braving the StormnDespite Storm Darragh’s attempt to dampen the day, my partner, our son, and I celebrated my birthday with a unforgettable trip to the Isle of Wight. The weather may have roared, but it only added to the adventure.nnThe crowning moment of the day was an incredible dining experience. Originally booked for later, we called ahead, and the restaurant graciously welcomed us earlier. Two delightful ladies welcomed us with such charm and hospitality that the meal—already spectacular—became even more memorable.nnThe food itself was a masterpiece—a stunning fusion of English, Italian, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese influences. My partner, a trained and seasoned chef, was so captivated by the experience that he momentarily forgot to leave a tip! But we’ll make sure to express our gratitude properly the next time we visit.nnIt was a perfect blend of love, adventure, unexpected kindness and extraordinary flavors - exactly what a birthday should be.
Superb food, here I had the best dinning experience of my stay on Isle of Wight in early October. From start to finish, boy they didn’t disappoint! Also I had the pleasure of speaking to a lovely couple who were sitting in the table next to me and are regular guests at the restaurant, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Another outstanding experience! Had booked our table a good few weeks ahead of visiting our favourite island….as we always want to have secured a table here! We were looked after by Grace who was so helpful and friendly….our food as always was outstanding….the flavours here are just wonderful and the care taken with each dish is amazing! I love how I can watch the chefs create such wonderful dishes….and it’s lovely to see the care taken. Thank you to all the team at True Food…..we loved it….again!!!!!
AInnTZ's True Food Kitchen comes highly recommended for its high-quality, innovative cuisine that many diners feel offers good value, despite a perception of being somewhat expensive. The establishment is celebrated for its creative and flavorful dishes, set in a cozy and stylish environment that exudes a laid-back charm. While the portion sizes might not always satisfy and reservations are advised to mitigate wait times, the warm and attentive service contributes to a dining experience that guests deem well worth the wait.
We were met with warm service from the moment we walked in, the food was truly outstanding and unlike anything we’d ever had before. Portion sizes were also perfectly filling with an impeccable attention to detail. We ordered the seafood satay noodles, a cheeseboard and baked alaska for dessert.nThe restaurant’s atmosphere was also cosy yet formal, and was very tastefully decorated.nnA perfect place to spend our anniversary together, we’ll be back in no time!
