Stayed twice now, both off peak very good value visits. Apartments high quality. Staff very accommodating. Great sea views. A fair walk to south bay but I understand there's a good bus service. Shops and food outlets handy on ground floor.

Absolutely love this place! Been coming yearly and would come more if could afford it. Rooms are amazing with or without a sea view. The staff and friendly and there are plenty of facilities on site. Highly recommended if visiting Scarborough for something different and seeking luxury. Keep an eye out for the deals that make that price more appealing.

The reception staff's uniform should be smarter. The weather was extreme, but since The Sands is a 5 star resort, the initial experience should reflect this. Otherwise excellent. Can't wait to come back.

Cannot fault. Home from home. Staff very friendly and welcoming on reception. Any assistance and information required can be obtained here. Free to use limited dvd library located in reception, and rooms have a Nintendo Wii, with games and controllers available also from reception. Small gym facilities also provided on site. Peasholm is a quiet location about 1 mile, or a 20 minute walk from the train station area. Other businesses within the block include a bar, restaurant, cafe, snack bar, and convenience store, so many options on your doorstep. Plenty to do within the vicinity, with a miniature railway close by, water slide park and family food pub within easy reach. Also later in 2018, an adjacent leisure complex will be open with cinema, bars, and restaurants. Rooms have everything you possibly need, including full range of electronics, safe, high chair, travel cot, and umbrella. Daily updates of upcoming weather, tides, and local events posted to you daily.
