Great place to stay. Lovely people!

Marianne was very welcoming. My partner and I loved the room. Extremely cosy and comfortable. I had requested for some birthday decorations and a cake to be set in the room before we arrived, and Marianne was very kind to do this for us. We felt welcomed and had a great stay!

Very comfortable, clean B&B at North Sands lodge in Scarborough. We felt very welcomed on arrival, and the room was very homely. Would definitely recommend this B&B to family and friends.

North Sands Lodge is a true jewel. Me and my parter loved it. The facilities are fantastic and are room was very cosy & clean. The owner Marianne was lovely and told us the best places to eat and visit which was very helpful. they dont serve food here but that is not a problem as there are plenty of places close by to eat and they have a communal kitchen if you prefer to cook your own meal. I would definitely use again & recommend to friends.

As an obvious member of a subsection of the LGBT+ community, I sometimes worry (especially with smaller hotels) that my appearance may earn me unfavourable treatment. However, this was certainly not the case at North Sands Lodge. It's just a twenty minute walk from the station, and not far from spectacular views of the sea. The room was extremely comfortable, with charming additions. Inexpensive hotels can sometimes have a tendency to scrape back on luxury, but that was certainly not the case here - soft towels were provided, as were mini toiletries and an array of tea/coffee options in our room. The bedding was immensely comfortable too, the owner generous, and most helpful. I would certainly recommend this establishment.
