Absolutely wonderful place with a fantastic team in a great location. The room was thoroughly clean although a little out dated in areas - we paid a rate higher than the standard, which I assume was for the small sea view - at £35 more, I would have opted for the standard room as I don’t think it would be any different. The lounge area was relaxing in the evening and breakfast was perfect.
Booked this hotel last minute after a change of plans. Turned up and was given the keys for a room which smelt strongly of urine. The staff kindly gave me another room but it was surprisingly small and tired for the price £143 - much more than I would expect for the location!. Bed was quite comfy but it became apparent that flushing the loo released an odour of urine into room admittedly not as bad as the first room but still not ideal. Final straw was the housekeeper walking in on my partner while she was naked - a solid 20 minutes before checkout! Unacceptable to say the least.
Stayed at Park Manor Hotel for a visit to the Scarborough Open Air Theatre – great location, just a short walk from the venue.nThe hotel was very clean and well-kept throughout. Food was really good and we especially appreciated the sandwiches available after the event – a nice touch.nWe did have an issue with the shower head, which had some red mould. We didn’t use it and reported it the next morning. Staff were very apologetic, said it would be replaced and kindly took the cost of dinner off our bill.nWhat really made the stay was the service – the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout. Overall, a good experience despite the minor issue.nWould stay again!
Visited for a hen do and had a lovely time! Staff were helpful and happy to get involved with some of the silliness.nnWe all had afternoon tea, and they were very very tasty. Great portions and all fresh, and well priced.nnGreat venue and tasty food
Pretty impressive on arrival however disappointed with the room. Told penthouse £290 for 2 nights so was expecting the wow factor. Unfortunately this was not the case. Turns out it was a family room even though there was only 2 of us.Very mediocre, wallpaper peeling off the wall in one corner, spider Web in same corner,of which said spider decided to visit while we were in bed and decided to do a Tom cruise stunt from the ceiling down towards the bed until I screamed and it scurried back up.funky smell in the corridor outside the room, small bath and when leaving the room on the first morning there were 7 spiders on the corridor ceiling. The steam room wasn't in use which we weren't notified of when we booked a few days earlier and then whole pool closed for a day. We were only booked in for 2 nights so short changed there.Our view of peasholme park was just the top of lots of trees. Breakfast was nice and staff were friendly. We stayed there 4 weeks ago, my husband was going to complain when we were checking out but customers were talking to receptionist so didn't want to make a fuss. He rang the hotel when we arrived home and raised the concerns and asked for a callback. He's still waiting.
