We have stopped here twice now, and both times we have been very impressed with our stay. The owners are very helpful and we could not fault them. The breakfast was great, and the rooms were equally as good. Unfortunately the racing hasn't brought us to Scarborough this year, so we may see you next year!

Warm, welcoming family run B&B, with parking. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and happy to show us to the room, then explain everything. Our room was on-suite with a sea view; clean tidy, warm and cosy with the electric fire place. Had a great sleep, didn't hear a peep from any other guests. Morning breakfast was delicious, with tea/coffee topped up as needed. Had a wonderful stay will definitely recommend and stay again if in the area.

It was one of the dirtiest place I have ever seen. It ruined my holiday. If I hadn't paid for that in advanced I would have never stayed there. I just share my experience to help any one that may read this review. The carpet on the floor was so old and filthy with lots of small insects living in it. The bedding was so nasty . It looked like it had never been changed. the bathroom was revolting. The owner of the place was very bad behaved. We called her very politely to complain, but she answered us so rudely. When she left the room, we had to leave the windows open to get rid of her sweat smell.

The owners of this lovely B&B are total life savers! After playing a charity gig in Scarborough we ended up stranded as the venue did not warn us about the parking situation. My friends and I ended up with our car locked up overnight with no way home. After 2 hours of searching for somewhere to stay, Zena and her husband sacrificed part of their night out to come and greet us and kindly rent out a room to us at 10pm! They also invited us to the pub over the road for a mush needed pint (the pub is also very good) Our room was the Sea View room at the top - fantastic view in the morning. The room was very spacious and clean. Oh my gosh, the bed was huge and very comfy. Unfortunately we did not stay for breakfast so cannot review that. Overall, the customer service was brilliant. we were incredibly grateful that the owners helped us out at such short notice and didn't mind us interrupting their night out. Stayed October 2014
