Interesting interior that looked like an old church. We wanted to grab a light dinner after a day visiting the beach. We had the chicken curry and some wings. Price was unbeatable. Helpful servers. Clean washrooms. The only thing that bothered me was the table. It was sticky and seemed like it was not cleaned properly. But with that price in mind, I was not expecting much.
Was in Folkestone for the weekend and visited Spoons. OMG what a lovely venue, big church converted into Spoons. It's located in the city centre. Building front is like a museum or art gallery. Very nice stain glass windows and beautiful ceiling art work and like a paint hall.nStaff were very friendly. Not a bad serve. A lot of local ales on tap. Every corner of this building was classy. Plenty of seats in main hall and upper in gallery. Must visit place to enjoy a pint and interior.
Outstanding two storey pub. A beautiful Wetherspoons pub! It's one of the better ones I've been to. Well worth a visit just to experience the surroundings.
We love this pub. We park at the car park behind. The tables are clean and the service quick. We always order from our table via The App which works great. The Curry is our favorite
Breakfasts are lovely. Vegetarian breakfast is particularly good. Baked beans are not always very hot, but other than that, it is fine. Traditional breakfast and vegetarian breakfasts are very affordable. Refillable hot drinks make it very cost-effective. Good service and staff very friendly and helpful. It is kept very clean both inside and out.
