Visited here earlier today and despite the shortage of staff and the extremely busy atmosphere, the staff done amazing. There was a few problems with ordering but they did not diminish my admiration for the food and staff. The taste of the food was out of this world, the soup of the day and the bread it came with was amazing. I had the kings head burger and the burger was cooked perfectly and blended amazingly with the bacon. The staff are all friendly and create a warm atmosphere overall. I would happily come back here again in the future.

One of my favourites on the high street. Reasonably priced home cooked food and great beer on tap. WiFi, child friendly. You can't go wrong!

Nah, need to update. Thought it is a fantastic pub. The old days mixed with the fresh today. Very stylish and clean, good drink options from true breweries. Depending on the staff, some are very friendly which adds to the joy of returning but the female with the red colouring unreal unpleasant. Rude, no martens, walks around lazy and uncomfortable. Not happy with herself, it seems, but that not professional so 5 now 2 stars and I won't return

Lovely atmosphere and very polite staff. Just a joy to be around. Really good food served in big portions.

Very polite waiters, great customer service but unfortunately the food wasn't anything special. Sandwich was the only vegan option and our food took an hour to arrive. They reduced the amount on our bill to compensate but we would have preferred a better meal.
