Just had without doubt, the best pub Sunday lunch ever. Choice of lamb, beef or pork. My group covered all options and all plates were clean at the end. Meat cooked to perfection, perfectly crispy roasties, meaty proper gravy and wonderfully cooked vegetables.

A group of eleven of us had a delicious Sunday lunch today at the Earl of Clarendon in Sandgate.  We had friendly prompt service and very good beer. The pub is also dog-friendly.  Will definitely return.

Very old style pub on side road just off sea front. Basic but good to see such an establishment still surviving

It's a good place,  nice atmosphere good selection of drinks and food is good too. Not that easy to find.
