I have to say, until now I was not a big fan of Indian Food. That has totally changed after an evening at Copper's in Hythe. Not only has the restaurant a lovely modern touch. You feel like in a big city, not like in cozy Hythe. The food is absolutely fresh, not overcooked like you'll find it in many other places. The starters were divine, the mains absolutely fantastic. I usually dreaded the overspending, probably perfect for other pallets, But for me, this was perfect! I loved my lamb and spinach dish and the okra side with onions was to die for. My family doesn't need convincing, they love Indian food. They are now happy that we've found a place where I like to gladly accompany them to. Wonderful place that I can highly, highly recommend Vegetarian options: I loved my Okra side Dish Kid-friendliness: We came with 2 primary school kids that were very friendly welcomed and addressed. They were even treated to a free dessert after our dinner. They were very happy Parking: We've parked in the opposite Waitrose Car Park
Excellent place for fine dining Indian Cuisine. Very warm and personalized service. Can't recommend enough. Must try place.
The food is truly Indian, not over spiced with colourants. The menu shows the food is sourced locally which is excellent. Everything is of a high quality and well presented. Also great if you like blues music!
From all the Indian restaurants my husband and I have tried over the years - and there have been at least 50 across Europe, the Coppers is the most special one and belongs to our two to three favourite ones. The food is carefully prepared and artfully presented, with little delicacies on top for the waiting period. Everything we have tried is freshly prepared and delicious. The service is outstanding as well, we are always happy to have a nice conversation while waiting impatiently for our meals. Beside more common main courses, which are cooked to perfection, there are special ones we have not found anywhere else. The latter make the experience so unique that we come again and again whenever we are in Kent, and sometimes the idea of being able to eat at the Coppers even motivates us to choose Kent as destination. We can heartily recommend the Coppers in every aspect to everyone, locals and tourists, and look forward to every future visit, with fond memories of our past ones.
We came to Hythe for my Birthday weekend. I chose this restaurant based on many 5 star reviews and certainly wasn't disappointed. There was such a lovely ambience, attentive staff and the food was delicious. The owner was also very present on the floor and the high level of customer service was really noticeable. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Will definitely go again if we come to Hythe again.
We had an amazing meal here, after booking a table for my wife's 40th. I don't think I've ever had such a good quality Indian meal, which was bursting with flavour and nothing like some of the bland dishes we have had at other restaurants. It was a genuinely authentic meal. You won't see the tasteless British dishes of tikka massala or korma here !! Polite and friendly staff, we were most impressed and will be back !!!
I visited for a works meal while staying locally for a few days. The food was delicious, one of the nicest meals I have had for a long time. The service was also excellent. Thank you so much. I hope to return next time I am in the area.
The best Indian Resteraunt in Hythe and Folkestone.The food is just too good to be actually true.I would surely suggest this place to anyone wanting some bites of delicious heartful Indian meal.
What a Brilliant Meal , and Experience. It was our anniversary we got a booking at the Hythe Imperial and walked into town, had seen good reviews so tried Coppers , lovely ambience great good and service and a pianist , so good, great night and the wife was so happy , win winFood: 5/5
We enjoyed our meal at the Coppers thoroughly. Beside the fact that you can choose between classical meals and unusual ones - of which the two we chose were utterly delicious, the service was very good and friendly. We received little things we could try in-between which tasted great as well. Even the minty chocolate at the end is a beautiful surprise. It is not just another After Eight but a mint leaf covered in chocolate, wonderful. We can fully recommend this restaurant, it belongs to the best Indian restaurants we know, and we have tried a lot of different ones all around Britain.
