Since taking on the Ryles in September 2010 Alex and his team have focused their efforts on providing great quality food and service

Story

The Ryles Arms is independently owned and has history dating back to the 1500’s. In the past it has been a blacksmiths, the local sweet shop and for the past century has mostly been a public house for the locals to enjoy.

Since taking on the Ryles in September 2010 Alex and his team have focused their efforts on providing all customers who walk through the doors with great quality food and service.

The menu now boasts such variety that there truly is something for everyone whether it be fine dining, pub favourites or a second to none steak from our flame grill.

Superb country pub/restaurant. A fantastic place to have a great meal and a drink. Wonderful food and great staff. The Ryles is great for that special occasion either with family and friends or as an intimate night out. There's a large car park and disabled access throughout. For the quality of food and service the prices are reasonable.

Lovely cosy little room, very well fitted and great decor. I'd give 5 stars apart from one minor point. The emergency exist light it the room was quite bright and disrupted my sleep a bit (room 3).

Lovely warm welcome. Nothing is too much for them. Children's menu available. Food very nice and well presented. Clean. Lovely open fire. Views of the countryside. Can't fault anything.

Friendly staff immaculate surroundings superb food at reasonable prices a pleasure to visit again and again. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious and well appointed and this is probably a good place for a longer stay. The beams in the room are a nightmare. I have to take a star off because it's dangerous. A big TV with HDMI access if you want to plug in a laptop.....hello Netflix. Wardrobe was a bit weird, no drawers. Bed was comfy.
