A very simple and somewhat clinical Travelodge. The room was acceptable, although it did not feel especially comfortable. The decor feels rather bleak. There is no lock on the shower room door, although the space is so small that your leg effectively keeps it shut while you use the toilet. There were no staff at reception, so checking in took longer than expected.
A fantastic bargain. Clean rooms, comfy beds and a central location. Can't fault the location and price.nThis Travelodge is clean and well maintained. I ususlly don't stay at them but I was very surprised with this one.nFront facing rooms on even numbers have excellent views to wale up to.
We came up for a funeral. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was huge, a few niggles but they didn’t really affect us. The only issue is that it’s right next to the railway line and that’s a bit disturbing when ur not used to it.nI would stay again despite this
My son was in a bit of a predicament, travel wise and it was very late. He was greeted by a fantastic man called Paul, at the Macclesfield hotel near the train station. I could hear over the phone his attentiveness, and fantastic customer service. Paul went above and beyond to help in every way. You have a really valuable member of staff there, which shouldn’t go unnoticed. Thanks Paul!
Greeted with a smile by a very friendly, professional and competent young lady on reception. The stairways, corridor and our room were exceptionally clean. The bed in our Plus room was comfortable and it was nice that we could have the window open if wanted. Bedding, towels, toilet rolls/soap dispenser and drinks items all clean, well-stocked and good quality. A surprisingly good sleep away from home and excellent value for money.
