Travelodge Macclesfield Central

It's ok.. basic but clean. Plenty of room in the family room, comfy big bed but the kids beds no where near to the same standard. The car park over the road is free form 6pm to 8am and between these times you can prepay for the following morning (4 hours for £1). Can't complain for the £26 we paid for the night..

Great location clean and helpfully staff. The inside of the rooms let this hotel down. Only 2 plug sockets and there near the kettle would of like 1 next to the bed. Second bed very uncomfortable springs dig into my back. T.v is far to small for the size of the room. Toliet brush needed and the bathroom plug full of hair not nice and to top it Noise from outside traffic kept me awake at night. But other then that a good stay for location and price

We know what to expect, basic room but clean and tidy At a reasonable price. Last time we stayed it, was very noisy with unsupervised Kids running a mock. This time was exactly the opposite and we enjoyed our stay.

Friendly welcome. Quick check in. Clean, but basic room - however it has everything you could want for an overnight stay. Great location close to the station & the town. Can be a little noisy from the railway if you leave the window open. No hot breakfast available (only the option of a 'breakfast box'), but there are plenty of places within walking distance where you can get breakfast at a decent price. No dedicated parking. There is on street parking directly outside, and there is a car park over the road, but watch out for the traffic warden after 9am! Overall a very pleasant stay. We will be using this hotel again.

Tonight I read an article about your company, and I sincerely hope it's fake news. If it is proven to be false, I'll apologise for my negative review and promptly request it removed. It follows that apparently your staff suspected a man who reserved a hotel room checked in with his "daughter" ... was suspected of grooming a child. To which your staff felt compelled to call the police as per their company "training" - apparently endorsed by clever Mr Plod - which then resulted in yet another wrongful accusation, and tormented an innocent set of people. When the accusation was found to be false. The case was dropped. What angers me is that your company believe they have the audacity to think that an apology is good enough, when it should be a far greater lesson, for which is not to EVER just ASSUME ... You scarred a young child's mind, and almost destroyed a father's - a Dad's - reputation. As a result, I will exercise my right to never set foot in one of your establishments again. I have children too, am I also grooming them if I reserve a night in a hotel? It's wholly disrespectful and wrong what you're training you're staff. If there was a suspicion, why didn't your staff ask for identity? Mr Plod has once again got it wrong, Sir! Assuming guilt until proven innocent! Isn't that why we all deem to be protected by law, to prevent this very wrongful thing from happening? With you people, and your supposed protective police force, you're disregarding the very purpose of the law - which is to PROTECT. Really it's with a heavy sad heart I write this. But you cannot just sweep this senseless act under the carpet. Utter Madness! A. Nooid
