Nice pub, nice selection of drinks and nice staff. Food was overpriced and appalling. It says everything when you can't even cook baked Camembert! £15 for chicken surpreme which was nothing more than chicken breast served on a bed of peas and bacon. I can't believe the food is being cooked by any "chef". Wouldn't go back. Shame for the staff.

Welcomeing staff, great food. The atmosphere is super. Amazing roasts. Mad a amazing wine selection. Probably one of the best pubs I've visited!

The service was good and all of our food was served hot and without a large waiting time. The menu is actually pretty varied so there's something for everyone.

We have been and reviewed this pub previously as iris a local favourite, but we had heard it was under new management so wanted to visit again. It was great. Food, service and welcome as good as ever. We look forward to returning when the new chef has had more time to put his stamp on the menu.
