Went for a market day breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as this food option is not written on the menu. Food was great!! Top quality sausage!! Will definitely be having this again. Place was clean and tidy, with a traditional feel. Very much enjoyed my experience.

We went for the breakfast menu which was tasty, the place it self has loads of quiet rooms to sit in or a open area by the bar depending on your mood. Very clean and lovely staff the lunch menu is also good i would recommend the pie & mash, after living in London for so long i miss Manze pie mash but this is great i finally have a local that tastes great. Im now a regular and you will be too.

We stayed here for a night in the family room, (room was massive). The staff was very polite and friendly, food was fantastic. Loved all the history of the hotel which we were fascinated by. We would definatly stay there again (very impressed)

Down for London Marathon and stayed for 2 nights as had great transport links to london city. Hotel has spent quite a bit redeveloping it and the rooms were superb as was the food and people working the bar areas. Met the owners who were interested in your opinion and lovely folk to talk with. We will stay again.

I had booked a room for December 2016 and confirmed I'd be coming. I fell ill on the day of arrival so stayed at home. Still feeling bad of being a 'no show' and will come by soon to apologise. I wanted to come as this place is very well looked after and worth the booking
