Afternoon tea! Although we booked in advance we had to wait for a table to be laid up as they had no record of us booking, however it didn't take too long to sort out. The teas and coffees we all had were good, the sandwiches, cakes and cream scones with jam were all very tasty and all 4 of us enjoyed. My only complaint would be my tea cup had a ring around it so had to get changed and my plate was also dirty so had to be changed which was a bit off putting being it was my 1st time visiting this place. Staff were pleasant place was nice and clean and we would be happy to return.

Barely a 4 stars hotel as for room design. I do like the pool and gym so I stay for business. Charging £15 for pets made them loose a star on my book. But many hotels as holiday inn do not charge if well behaved so maybe they can win a star back if I ask and they do the right thing or I only stay for business as its not cheap, maybe overrated. Parking has a decent value for money.

My husband and I went for breakfast in her birthday. The restaurant host who attended to us was extremely lovely!!! That 1st time in a long time I have experienced such outstanding customers service. The breakfast was superb also and very great value for money.

Room is clean though it's a bit worn in places (such as a workout spot in the tub). I am not able to reach the front desk the two or three times I've called but I guess it makes since the phone rang constantly and went unanswered when I was downstairs waiting for my ride. It appears they give first priority to the customers in front of them which I guess is great if you are the one there instead of upstairs in your room. Other than that it seems to be a good hotel.

Was here for corporate training so didn't have a room. Nice large conference rooms with refreshments as organised. Staff happy and helpful. Lunch was a buffet style which is always amazing quality. Puddings are also amazing. Definitely recommend here.
