One of the most warm and welcoming places I've stayed not the biggest or best place you'll see but the guys that run it do an amazing job.  Great breakfast great food and great atmosphere.  Would stay again 100%

Nice food. Good choice of ales. Pool table, jukebox and a quiz machine. Quaint place and pleasant staff.

Excellent food, drinks and service, to top it off really dog friendly including dog treats and water before you've ordered a drink. Spent many years coming back to the Lake District in many locations and have experienced many great pubs, but in our opinion this is one of the best and we have returned lots of times. Great location, easy walking distance from the central island and the lake. Great roaring fire after a good walk in the cold, very welcoming.

Nice friendly pub good selection beers and ciders. On the expensive side for me. Music system good.
