Cosy pub with separate bar and dining area. Outside garden to the rear. Sunday Lunch good with lots of meat and gravy. The selection on the day was beef, chicken or pork.
We had lunch yesterday with members of our family. We were made very welcome. Excellent selection of gluten free meals for one us. Excellent food and drink beside a roaring log fige. A very pleasant experience.
After a 3 mile walk over Cleeve Hill on a cold, windy day, we fancied a nice warm home cooked meal. The Royal Oak Prestbury did not let us down! The best homemade pie and mash we've ever tasted! Highly recommended
Booked the Pavilion for a Wake just before Christmas and found the staff sensitive and helpful in making the arrangements and very flexible in responding to the larger numbers who attended on the day. Particularly notable is the wide choice they offer for those who need gluten-free options. Thank you all so much.
Lovely, welcoming pub dinner. Food was lovely and filling which is what we needed after our 5 hours walk. Violet our waitress was so sweet and helpful. Made our experience even more enjoyable.
Absolutely fantastic evening hosted by Tom and the team. Being gluten intolerant it can be tricky going out for dinner, but I was given so many options and had gorgeous fish and chips! Wish I had room for pudding as they looked amazing! Great spot for race week :
Very disappointing, £79 for what essentially was 3 small lunches. Served with coleslaw...was it? 2 of us got a teaspoon on the side, and 1 didn't get any at all. Vegetarian burger said with pink pickled onions, there were none, chicken ciabatta was supposed to come with aioli, there was a smear on one side of the roll that was the size of a 50p in the middle, that thin you could see the roll underneath. To be honest, we are still hungry enough to buy snacks. Service charge of £7 added without asking. Service was great, but would've like to have been made aware or even asked about the service charge before adding it. Won't be visiting again either.
Very poor experience - during busy Cheltenham festival was handed a card machine with an extra 60 GBP keyed in. Good job I was looking as there was a lot of people who may not have noticed. Make sure you watch what you are paying. Update to Owner - It was most definitely your establishment. I raised the issue with your manager at the time who promised me a call back the next day - no call back so here is the review.
Beautiful pub in quiet location. Quick, friendly service from all members of staff. Wide selection of drinks and the food was well presented and tasty. Good value for money as well. Would recommend!
Great place. Good food excellent customer service. Very elegant interior and the courtyard is a nice place to hang out at. They treated an American well
