1st time visit. Very friendly. Fab menu with lots of vegan and veggie choices. 2 areas/stations for dogs with bowls, blankets, water and treats as well as a Pups Menu. Table with bowls of Lego to play with and rope climbing frame. Coffee was very good too. Absolutely 10 out of 10.
I came to the Apple tree for a change of scenery and was pleasantly surprised by how nice of a venue this is. Located on Stockwell lane the apple tree has plenty of parking. Today was the Cheltenham races which meant we knew it would be busy but even with this the service and food was amazing. You walk in and get greeting by lovely staff who guide you to a table and food delivered superbly to the table. Overall great experience thanks for a great time
Had a great night with friends. Service was prompt and food came soon after. Staff was friendly and helpful with changes to food. Typical pub grumb warm and tasty. While we where there there was a pub quiz and although we didn't take part it was clear everyone eas having a nice time.
Lovely pub. Very helpful when setting up for a birthday celebration. Reasonable costs for a lovely buffet. We all had great night.
The food was disgusting and not cheap at all!!! The pizza was described as a large pizza, it was in fact a hand sized Chicago town mini pizza worth 50p in tesco, not only this, they cooked it in a microwave and it was all soggy and wet on the base!! When asked to change it, the customer service response was not exactly friendly but we were told "well I didn't cook it!" My roast was cold and the brocoli was so over cooked it fell apart and the cauliflower cheese that I was charged extra for was dried up and stuck to the dish with zero sauce present... Was so awful and pricey at the same time... Staff avoided me when I tried to return it... The pizza then came back burnt the 2nd time... Hey ho... Last time I eat there...
The apple tree pub is a cosy pub and has a lot of character. The staff are polite and attentive. I actually like the look of the pub and it does have a romantic atmosphere. The food is well presented and the price reflects this. If I had one issue it was that my burger didn't come with a bun and I had to ask for it. I would definitely recommend this pub to my friends and family.
Lovely family meal at the Apple Tree today. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the salmon fish cakes with a mini pud. Was served by Celia who was lovely, very friendly and attentive. My husband comes here regularly when visiting his mum but today we all came. Will be back.
The food was lovely but the food service was a little slow. They have a play area outside, but it is quite tired and aimed at older children. My little one is 3 years old and it's not really a suitable pub for his age. Unfortunately they didn't even have any colouring sheets and pencils. But as I said the food was lovely and they catered for my mum, who is gluten free.
Bringing my mum for her birthday meal was lovely. I enjoyed my mussels. Drinks were served fast and we weren’t left empty. John and his team were so pleasant and nothing was problem for them. Justine and Rosie were fantastic thank you girls
On the night of 7th of January 2023 Zoe was our server and she was amazing! So so friendly and helpful! Didn’t even need to twist my arm for some dessert, even after Christmas. Great service with a smile and very welcoming
