Story

The Royal Forester Country Inn and Restaurant in Bewdley is a charming traditional inn that dates back to 1411. It is located in the heart of the Wyre Forest within Worcestershire. It offers a unique eating & drinking experience combined with individually themed luxury en suite bedrooms.

Surrounded by the beautiful Wyre Forest, the Royal Forester is an ideal base to explore the local area. This beautifully refurbished and modernized old inn has origins dating back to 1411 and it still maintains its original rustic charm. The charming restaurant is a "meandering-shape" with old floors and walls which showcase murals of Wyre Forest scenes and characters from over a 100 years ago. Wi-Fi internet access available.

The restaurant has recently been awarded 1 AA Rosette for the quality of its food and focuses on fresh local seasonal produce with Wyre Forest Venison and local game a speciality of the house when in season.
