Story

Is a long established traditional newly refurbished public house located in Bewdley. We offer fantastic ambience and service for any drinking and dining occasion whether it’s business, pleasure or a celebration. Great steaks, Pies and traditional English Cuisine, together with a superb drinks selection that includes a great range of wines and champagnes, real ales and chilled lagers.
We endeavour to create great ambience with timeless quality alongside friendly service and great food. We believe in attention to detail and are constantly re-investing to ensure our premises are maintained to a high standard.

We are proud of our staff and management teams and know they work very hard to make your visit enjoyable and keep smiling even when the pressure is on! We welcome your feedback whether positive or negative and recognise we work within a highly competitive and constantly changing environment. So please tell us if we didn’t get it right but also if we did!

Enjoyed a quiet lunch, just a few mins drive from Bewdley high street.nLimited but Excellent parking facilities meant this was a good choice for our mobility challenged companions.nWe had the dog and consequently we were sat towards the back of the building up a couple a steep steps. Not as ideal for my dad… however, he managed.nIt also meant we were away from the majority of clientele and so the apparent atmosphere was lost on us.nFood was great but a couple of the mains were not available and so we had to change our choices.nThoroughly enjoyed what we did have though so everyone was happy!nRecommended!
The Hop Pole Inn in Bewdley is hands down one of my favourite places to eat and relax. Pendo and his amazing team always deliver – friendly, welcoming, and full of energy, they create a fantastic atmosphere every time we visit.nnThe seasonal menu is absolutely brilliant – packed with fresh, locally inspired dishes that change throughout the year. I especially love Burger Night – there’s always something new and creative each week. And Pie Night is just as amazing, with different delicious pies every week – real comfort food done properly!nnThere’s plenty of parking which makes visiting super easy, and the fact that it’s dog friendly is a massive bonus. Whether it’s a casual midweek meal or a weekend treat, The Hop Pole always delivers. Highly recommended!
If you are looking for excellent food and not sure where to go, look no further.. 10 out of 10 food ! I only wish we didn’t live so far away so we could visit again!!
I was keen to revisit the Hop Pole as I've recently moved back to the area. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the pies and cheesecakes in particular might be the best I've ever had. Lovely staff, decor and dog friendly! Kudos!
One of the worst roast dinners I’ve ever had, disgusting reheated grey tasteless cauliflower cheese, severely overcooked beefit looked like a slab of wood, lamb and pork- overcooked and dry. Terrible offering of veg consisting of steamed courgette and a tiny amount of cabbage, no seasoning, roast potatoes tasted like old leftovers, gravy was tasteless instant rubbish. Ordered extra pigs in blankets and they tried to give us one lonesome sliced up pig in blanket in a sad little bowl, Whoever made that food should change career immediately, Pub manager should get recruiting someone that cares asap
