Popped in on a Saturday afternoon as a non local. The Staff and locals were very friendly. My girlfriend and I were made very welcome. I tried a plum liquor and was even told where I could buy a bottle. Great customer service.
Lovely Sunday lunch Great choice of starters, mains and desserts. All very well presented and cooked. We will be back again. Dog friendly too
It's a proper pub, it sells excellent ales and the cobs were superb
Proper traditional and cosy pub, the beer is excellent, in a beautiful old building, dog friendly, very nice and homely atmosphere, exactly the right thing after a walk with the dogs on a cold winters day. Serving food as well and with an open fire.
We booked a table for our Christmas dinner, I don't know where to begin? the friendly welcome, the lovely fire and fantastic service and then and came the food, nothing short of sensational ! Great atmosphere, great menus, great pub, just bloody brilliant.
