Quirky little pub with a lovely homely feel. The Desperate Dan pies are great! Dogs are allowed into the pub too which is a nice touch. I visited on a Saturday lunchtime and it was quite busy. Menus on the tables would be good. Recommended.

Brilliant Sunday lunch. Food and atmosphere was very good. 4 stars because I think its a little overpriced at 13.95 for beef. I would visit again though.

A nice little olde worlde town centre pub. Lovely atmosphere. Hobsons beer but didn't have any still cider on draught the day we went, just the usual fizzy. Menu is standard pub fare but looked ok. It's easy to walk past it as it is part of a terrace. No parking other than pay and display a few hundred yards away. Travel by steam train on the Severn Valley Railway and walk in to town - about half a mile. Great as part of a pub crawl.

Great selection of ales, and several gins. Food is very hearty and well prepared, including the famous Desperate Dan pie, as well as specials board. Highly recommended.
