A no frills proper Somerset local, and that's meant in the best way possible. A rare unspoilt gem of a pub with well kept ale served from a tap room.

Excellent selection of real ales and cider. Very friendly atmosphere and tge staff are exceptional. 
The unique fact that there is no bar is very quirky but an experience to behold. 
I will definitelt go back.

During the summer of 1993 we placed the Berrow bench in there after getting stuffed by Huish Episcopi at a game of cricket. The rest of the day descended into drunken debauchery, bog snorkelling and "other things", it was a bit like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I went in there about a month ago, they have a cash till now.
