From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by Lea's big smile, we were made welcome and looked after. This is the place to stay. The bed was sooooo comfy. The breakfast was great. The beer was good and nothing was too much  trouble. We highly recommend The Old Pound Inn.

Lovely carvery, beef was melt in the mouth and the cauliflower cheese was out of this world.

Very friendly pub. Restaurant area as well as outside garden. Our dog was allowed in the main bar and in the garden. Very friendly and has darts board and pool table. Nice atmosphere with Sky Sports tv. Will be going back there for a meal later in the week. You can eat either in the main bar area or in the restaurant. Would recommend this pub.
