Great Pub. Well designed and managed. Often with pubs you find that the garden is fairly lackluster. This one has the bonus of a car park and garden. The garden is often well kept and has the added bonus of being located next to a river which has a nice atmosphere. This is all complemented by a good menu and reasonable staff.
We went while in tier 3 and had a great time, they had made a real effort to keep you as Safe as possible under the circumstances. Kids love a roast dinner.
Very good all round. Staff very good apart from one who really let her team down! Seemed like she really didn't want to be there and quite frankly..... wish she hadn't have been!
Pretty good, only get a little bit of meat from the carvery though. Servive and food is high quality.
Well catered for the virus. Although when we went it was as if they had forgotten how to wait on the tables. No cutlery or condiments and we had to ask for them as well as a refill for the coffee.
