The usual Wetherspoons offering - good value drinks and food. The interior is excellent, it's great to see they managed to keep some of the art deco features from the original building. The atmosphere is noisy - loud and plenty of fruity language. A scuffle broke out as we arrived and rumbled on for another hour or so with a few interventions from security and the police. Nobody seemed too concerned, in fact most of the locals took their drinks outside to watch. The nearby town hall and square are very much worth a look.
It's OK it's in rochdale Town centre so be prepared for a wide range of characters lol can't complain about price of drinks! Beer garden to rear of building and some seating at the front aswel if your brave enough Food: 3/5
My first visit to this Spoons which is very handy for the interchange, first impressions it was Clean and warm, the seating had power sockets with usb charging were full of people making use of these facilities. Time came to decide what we were going to eat when we heard from the next table they had run out of fish! So no fish and chips, so I was forced into having pudding instead of fish, while waiting for our food I went to get sauce's and condiment only to find out that there was no ketchup the mayo bottles were all empty as for the vinegar there was barely a spoonful in any, when the young man brought our food I asked for some he said were they were I told him the situation and he replenished the supplies. my drink of the day was hot chocolate the first was hot and strong unlike the substituent ones. Would I return properly as I said it's handy for bus and trams
I mean, it's what you'd expect from a spoons, cheap. Good start/midway point and a quick cheap bite to eat. Always feel they need a good clean, but staff nice enough and overall a nice place to get started, without breaking the bank. Parking: Taxi, bus, tram or on foot best options.
Just visited again after a few years away. Nothing much has changed, still a great selection of drinks and good quality freshly cooked food Great pub, great food and huge selection of beers , lagers, wines and spirits. There are meal deals on each day of the week. Pay once and refill your coffee as many times as you want and now there are two self-service coffee machine's where you can choose from decaf, latte and black coffee etc. Seating outside at the front and back of the building. Try the breakfasts as there is a huge choice of different options. One of the busiest Spoons in the UK
Visited on steak Tuesday, generous sized tasty sirloin and side portions, cooked well done, our preference, nice peppercorn sauce. Good service from both bar and waiting on staff Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5

The Regal Moon is a great place to get a drink and some food, a nice atmosphere, and normally fairly busy. On a sunny day, it has plenty of outdoor seating, and making use of the wetherspoons app to order drinks or food to your table is a great optionFood: 5/5
Big Big room + beer garden. Old cinema still got a lot of fixtures and fittings. Looks out for the organ and organist. Good service .
Been here multiple times for food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Cheap food and cheap booze. Can't fault it
