It's been a while since we visited this bar and restaurant. It's been totally refurbished and to a very high standard. Plenty of seating inside, seating outside including a play area for 4 to 10 year old approximately Cheap offers on drinks and meals, the menu is comprehensive with deals for both children and adults. I have to say everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious. Everything was delivered to our table at the same time, which made our experience all the more enjoyable
Booked in for a family meal and we were 12 or 11 people. The food all came out at the same time and was piping hot. The staff was very friendly and managed to put our birthday cake in the fridge which was very kind! My food tasted a bit bland tho
First time here today pleastly surprised after reading the reviews. Big car park outside kids play frame. Pub is also nicely decorated inside and out ordered on the app food came quickly was hot and staff were friendly. The americano was huge good job guys will come again
Booked online. But had to queue at bar to find out what table, then told to sit anywhere . Seemed a little short staffed. But food was very nice and hot. The prices are very reasonable. But waited 50 minutes for Childs ice cream my 3 year old was very upset. I’d asked staff 4 times. With the right amount of staff would easily be a 5 star
Bought steak ale pie . looked good. lacked meat.sentvit back. but no one asked why ? I then bought a steak but left that as it was tough. is this why you payup front as from reading other complaints over food no one received a refund. all frozen microwaved food. I've just seen your reply asked around this was put on much later.i didn't eat a mouthful from this pie I'm fuming that you come out with these comments I don't like lies how dare you print lies
Not being local we popped in without much expectation. Very friendly place. Steak and ale pie and Scampi and chips. All hot well made served at the same time by two lovely ladies! Had puds which were a good size. Lovely coffee to finish off. Sorry we can't come back for all the daily offers
Lovely. Great pub meals. 6 adults and 3 children. The staff were great, couldn't have been more helpful. Menu is varied and I think it's been recently decorated. We visit about twice a year to meet up with family, this was probably the best time yet. Thank you.
4 of us had an excellent meal. The 2 fish meals were huge and looked fresh and batter was light and crispy. Lots of chips. The beefburgers was excellent. Chips came in little silver bucket. The chicken burger which was breaded chicken was quite bland. And could of done with a bit more lettuce on bun. The venue has had alterations done. Less tables and childrens/family area put to one specific area. Have come here regularly and on whole get excellent meals, service and value for money.
Arrival time: 12pm on a Saturday- quiet at first, but got busier. Great that you find your own table and pay via the app. Food was good - check the daily deals. Good options for the kids/picky eaters. Service was quick and staff were friendly and polite. It's been hit & miss here since its opening, hopefully they can keep up this good run. I would come again, just hoping I have the same experience as today.
