Me and my girlfriend stopped here for a carvery. She is gluten intolerant and veggie which can be a struggle in most place. Staff tried very hard to find a veggie gluten free alternative for her. Unfortunately the sausages weren't gluten free. Because of this they only charged her £6 for a veggie roast with veggie gravy which we thought was good of them to offer straight away like that. We both had a lovely roast dinner which only cost £15 for both of us. What a bargain for good food . Staff where also very helpful and friendly.
For a dank miserable day it was a joy to have some of the best cod and chips around. Thank you.
Really friendly pub. For both myself and my dog. I had the all day breakfast, freshly cooked and fantastic. I’ll be back tomorrow!
Ate there twice last week while on holiday with our 2 golden retrievers. Food amazing, reasonably priced, staff very welcoming and the two dogs were made very welcome. Would highly recommend.
Very friendly staff and a quiet relaxed atmosphere. They made me exactly what I wanted to bacon, sausages, eggs and chips decent thick bacon and all in all very tasty. Decent sized portions too!

Fantastic Pub, fantastic food, fantastic beer & fantastic people. We were here for my birthday get away in early January, can’t wait to get back.
A lifesaver at the bottom of this road when desperate for a pint! Super friendly and welcoming staff. Great range of drinks. Food is a bit average but to be fair to them, they don't charge a lot for it either. Will definitely be back.
Great dog friendly place to eat, food is tasty and staff are very friendly.
