The Food was excellent & the Staff are friendly. It was my Birthday today, 7th October and was treated to a fantastic meal out. A Pricey place to eat out for Special Occasions.

Food well cooked but fish and chips prob was very small and scampi over cooked. Net to go to royal standard in knotty green to compare amazing fish and chips. Prices high for what it is

We booked a large party ( 16 ) in for dinner the evening before a family wedding. We reserved the private room but due to hot weather we were able to switch to the outside for starters and mains and then go inside for dessert. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and accommodating staff. All 16 of us had great meals and the visitors to the area were envious that we should have such a lovely pub on our doorstep .
