Absolutely appalling the way they treat a black person who comes into the store. I went into the store today to get a few bits for work. As I go to checkout security is called on me whilst am checking out. He was busy watching me to see if I am going to run of with the goods. Once I paid he backed off. This is really intimidating and rude. They didn’t do that for other people in the store of a different race. But every time I go to this store it is the same thing. Do you think black hard working people can’t afford to pay for m&s. This black profiling needs to stop. It is disgusting and repulsive that in this day and age someone can’t shop in peace without being followed like they going to steal. Even in Harrods I don’t get this treatment. M&S Bedford you need to do better.
M&S retail park branch always deserves 5 stars for customer service! Leaving this review to highlight how the staff member Lisa on the self serve till looked miserable, cutting her eyes at me when I simply asked for a bag. It was all too much effort for her to assist me & she was rather rude & unfriendly, training required.
Dear Team... just had 2 ping mealsnA count on you curry chicken tikka.nAnd a chicken fruity curry.nBoth dishes were very dissapointing in the facts that they were very tasteless...very much overloaded with the sauces ratio to meat.nWe are genuinely pleased with MS as a rule but if the ready meals have a different remit to its suppliers for cost etc...then MS YOUR STANDARDS ARE SUFFERING AT OTHERS HANDS.nThanks for the rant!
One of the best shopping places for a special evening or just casual. 10/10 products, selected, many of them unique and tasty as a pink sunset. Highly recommended!nnTry the M&S wine selection as well Staff is always polite and kind, helpful and despite all work smiling naturally!
Staff are always so friendly. Store is laid out nicely and I always find what I need. Some items are pricey but these are the ones I end up enjoying the most.
