AMAZING! So pleased that the QH is back open again and refurbished with a new menu. Very friendly staff, lovely ambience inside. Brandy pate: best pate I’ve had in years Duck rolls: very good and crispy Steak and chips: really juicy and flavoursome steak, large portion too! All the food had a lovely homemade feel. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends and family. Fish and chips: perfectly cooked.
Fantastic food - plenty of it ! Excellent service! Gteat value for money. Highly recommend the Sunday roast.
Excellent Sunday roast lunch. Between us we had lamb, pork, beef and chicken roasts. All delicious and huuuuge. Yorkshire puddings were slightly overdone hence why the 4 rather than 5 stars. And the fact that the background music was too loud. And a wafer with my ice-cream delicious would have been perfect. My nephew thoroughly enjoyed his sticky toffee pudding and custard. But very happy with the lunch and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.
Food was amazing but the service definitely needs some work. Long wait to order drinks, when the food arrived we weren’t asked if we’d like anything else or anymore drinks, the waiter just put the food down and walked off. We finally got someone’s attention to ask for more drinks and sauces etc. Then again another long wait to get the bill and even the card machine! Music being skipped/ changed every 5 minutes. These little things just add up and can easily ruin someone’s experience at a lovely pub.
Food was pretty much average. Service very slow. The tartare sauce served with the fish was rancid. We were not offered a refund or any compensation. Very unlikely to return.
I’m really pleased to have the the Queens Head back open and it’s better than ever. The food is great and the service is on point, friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a visit and will be back again….and again :

We had a very small problem but it was quickly and efficiently rectified. The staff are friendly, the service great and food delicious!
Lovely pub in a lovely village. The bar staff are very attentive and friendly. Bit of a wait for food and didn't start serving until 6pm. Great food.
Very expensive drink, £9.50 for a glass of wine! Food nice though.
