Good little local pub, some things on the menu are marginally better than others but what they do well is fantastic. Great prices and staff too. Solid selection of specials and drinks.

We had the best mixed grill and steak burger in a while. Lovely staff. Update: we've been back several times, sampling the burger again, chilli, pepper chicken and the sea food salad, which were amazing too

Absolutely lovely food and deserts, plus one can as for a one of their cards and pensioners get a discount on lunchtime meals. We are a group of 10 to 15 lady pensioners who go to the Queen Anne once a month and some of us on birthdays. The waitresses are really nice and nothing is to much trouble. I love going there .

Food and staff were really good, wish food wasn't served on a piece of slate asu husband had a steak sandwich which had an egg on, the yolk ran off the slate on to his jeans. Will definitely be back though and would recommend a visit.

Quite possibly one of the tastiest pub meals I’ve had in a very long time. Friendly staff, nice old school pub decor that’s welcoming and friendly, good value for money. I had the typsy lamb, truly delicious! Here for work but if I’m ever up here again I’d definitely be back!

Great quality food and a good menu selection. Reasonably priced too and very friendly.

Enjoyed a quiet lunch with friend , had fish which was cooked to perfection , staff attentitive but not in your face. 2019 , met up with friends for evening meal , quite busy as it had been Race Day at Haydock , ordered meal wasn't too much of a wait , food arrived piping hot , we all thoroughly enjoyed, staff friendly, decided to have a dessert and again not too long of a wait , desserts were delicious , a nice end to our day , called to see friend and decided to have lunch , I had the Seafood Salad , what a delight , food all freshly prepared and plenty of it friend had the cheese and onion with mushrooms on a Panini which she thoroughly enjoyed too , keep up the good work
