A very quirky pub! I love this place, but it won't be to everyone's liking. Family run offering typical pub grub and fairly priced. You will also be able to choose from a variety of craft beers. Outdoor seating weather permitting with very nice views of open fields. You can leave your credit cards at home as this place takes cash only.
Not another pub like this for me. Food and ales are excellent and the pub itself is an absolute wonder. Step back in time with a visit here. Some will call it junk but this place is filled floor to ceiling with all sorts of bits and bobs. If you like old radios and cameras you will be in heaven. I once went to visit without cash and the landlord said i could pay on my next visit. You don't get that sort of trust everywhere.
Love this place! It's a bit of an enigma! Foods good, the atmosphere is better! Best Sunday lunch in Warrington at a reasonable price! Most of the people that work there are really nice, just one needs to learn how to smile a little! Other than that love it!!
This pub is unusual. It's also a store of everyday artifacts that will keep the curious amused for hours. The staff often use telepathy as the main tool of communication, which they have undoubtedly mastered on transcendental visits to nearby dimensions. The beer is excellent quality, demonstrating the inner struggle of the perfectionist brewer while allowing biblical references such as the the parable of the Black Sheep. This is therefore one of my favorite pubs in all of time and space, so long may it continueum
Fantastic pub! l Lots of memorabilia, varied ales and good food. It's our designated local despite living miles away. Oh, not forgetting pub cat too!
Lovely little pub full of memorabilia from the bygone era. Excellent pints with a try before you buy and fantastic menu for all budgets. No cards or plastic accepted as this adds to the bygone era. Cheques I wonder. BT wifi is available.
Most unusual place you could go to for a drink. Full of Burtonwood air base memorabilia. Very cluttered and scruffy. Food delicious. Staff friendly. Real ale lovely. Must be seen to believe.
Love this pub! I can guarantee you've never seen anything like the Fiddle. Might be in the middle of nowhere but it really is worth trekking to for either the good beer the good food or just to be amazed at what you see when you walk through the door.
Fantastic place to go. Excellent steak and onion baguette. 10 out of 10. The ale is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I loved going. It's a shame it's closed.
Having been introduced here at a works lunch, this has to be one of the few jewels in the traditional pub crown. True it is not to everyone's taste, and the food has on occasion been below standard burned pies, overcooked fish but compared to the characterless chain pubs that dominate the market today, with their pre-prepared meals, this is truly a breath of fresh air. Set in a quiet part of the area there are some great relaxing views over fields, and you can get lost on a nostalgia trail as you wander the pub admiring the eclectic collection of memorabilia, recognising items you grew up with. How they manage to keep it clean is a mystery. Remember there is a big difference between dirty and cluttered, with this definitely being cluttered. The service has always been great for me, and with a great selection of ales, with samples available there is not a lot to dislike.
