Lovely traditional pub with cosy fireplace. Had my nans wake here and the staff were so accommodating and everyone commented how great the buffet was especially the pork pies! Definitely recommend
Nice local pub, though not one we usually visit. There was a live music night on which we enjoyed very much. We hope to visit again for the next one in January.
A spotless, traditional pub, with a friendly, personable owner, and wife. Reasonably priced drinks, and an impressive menu, with a traditional Sunday Roast dinner. Worth a ride out, in the car, definitely!
The Shepherds Inn was OK, it is definitely a locals pub. We did feel a bit uncomfortable when the locals kept looking at us. The food was OK and the young bar server was friendly. One thing we did find was there was outside benches put on the disabled parking space - not very disabled friendly!!
Great place but no real ale otherwise 5 stars.
Friendly atmosphere, clean tidy environment
Very welcoming staff and great home cooked food. So nice to be in a proper pub. If you're looking for cocktails and canapés look elsewhere. If you want a good wholesome independent pub, this is one.
Lovely atmosphere, typical cosy local with food.
was not great, Very expensive for a backstreet pub and not a chain.. Ten pounds for two pints and a half of strongbow thought Was a bit extreme to be honest.. had our drinks and left
We meet often here as it's the only pub you can go to and hold a conversation were you can hear what is said Wonderful news... The Shepherds is having a big refurbishment and it will be all fresh and new again The Wednesday night Gals can't wait to see... I've also had Sunday lunch there and very nice it was
