Very overpriced and terrible room. Went for a night away with my partner, it's not ideal when they put you in a tiny room with a bunk bed. The roof in the room was leaking water and there wasn't even a lamp in the room. The wet room was tiny so once you had a shower the water didnt even drain from the floor, we even had to wear trainers to brush our teeth in the morning. For £180+ a night, it was terrible. Great location but that's all that place has going for it. The owner even had the cheek to stand moaning in the morning at how hard it is to run a B&B, I'm sure it's not that difficult to put some cereal out in a morning and collect lots of money for terrible accomodation.
A wonderful B and B. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Self service check i was easy to follow and amenities you could need in the room. We didn't have breakfast as had to leave early but will deffo be returning. We had a wonderful view from our room. Really lovely.Rooms: 5/5
Great spot in centre of Wells for a stop on the Rebellion way. Friendly breakfast. Easy check in…and some bonus drinks in the Dormy House..thanksRooms: 3/5
Not a great experience! Fretted with a warm welcome and that is we’re the nicest part ended. Was not told that the room was so small that there was space for one dining chair and a bed. It was a large cupboard with a bed in!! Was also not told when booking that cereal croissant and toast was all on offer. Nothing cooked and what was there was being packed away before we could even finish our breakfast! We stayed 4 nights in Norfolk 1 night here and by far this was the most expensive with the least value for money.
Great place for a weekend away. Continental breakfast very nice with a good choice. Rooms clean and well kept.Rooms: 4/5
Overpriced for facilities, small room, with dirty cushions on bed, no coffee machine as stated on website. Visit started with text message detailing self check in, not the welcome expected. Limited choice breakfast, run by staff having personal conversation and using mobile phone in front of guests, breakfast room has carpet stained, broken fridge . Part of North Norfolk tour , most disappointing stay, would not recommend.
They Quay, first of all it was a nice get away. Alexandra send us over all the necessary instructions to get in the building which where clear and easy to read. When arriving the place was spotless, warm and relaxing. We found our way to our room which was so spacious with beautiful massive windows filled with natural light. The room itself had a lovely comfy king bed. The bathroom was my favourite great shower, clean and tidy and also has a de-misting mirror which was handy. We had a great sleep and then went down for breakfast. Alexandra was downstairs making sure all guest where happy she made us a coffee and told us to help ourselves to the breakfast. There was a massive array of treats and different things -10 different types of cereal -Croissants, pancakes, crumpets, bagels, literally so many options -fruits and yogurt -overnight oats -hams and cheese The breakfast itself was just great, so many options no one could possible be left out!!! Alexandra was a great, so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming again in summer
Second visit here, and will defiantly return. Great host, lovely room and very comfortable bed. Dog friendly. Great base to explore Wells and Holkham. My favourite place Rooms: 5/5
Great stay at The Quay! Self check in was really convenient, our room was very clean and spacious, and Alex was a great host. It’s great to be able to bring your dog along on a trip with so little fuss. Would definitely stay here again.
Easy to find! Car park right opposite, so great if you don’t travel light! instructions on how to get into your room where clear, Rooms where very nicely decorated, comfy bed, and warm ! Good breakfast Continental Alexandra was helpful and friendly Would definitely stay again
