It was absolutely amazing staying at this property beautiful setting we stayed in the apartments was so comfortable great space, it was like being away abroad so quiet, in a great location walking distance to shopping centres, bars and restaurants Rooms: Rooms were so spacious, comfortable definitely 100% will be back Food & drinks: Breakfast was 110% they were loads in it, beautiful breakfast, the staff was so friendly, asking if we wanted more coffee toast etc,
This is a perfect place to stay in Athlone. Location was excellent, casual walking distance to everything. Modern and comfortable, the apartments have everything you could need - clothes washer/dryer, full kitchen, large living room with very comfortable furniture and a big tv. Beds were exactly what was needed, slept very well here. Water pressure was strong so the shower was a pleasure. Manager/owner is a true gentleman, he was very humble and generous and kind to us and I got to dust off my Irish to chat with his children as they live next door to the apartment buildings. If you're visiting Athlone, I recommend a stay at the Arch House.
There was four of us in the apartment staff so friendly great location every thing on your doorstep apartment was spotless will definitely be back highly recommended Rooms: 5/5
Nice and cosy place overall. I paid €130 for a Friday night. Checkout time is a bit early at 11 am as opposed to the usual 12 pm The place is in a nice location with The dark horse bar in front of it and being walking distance from the castle and Maisie’s. I think the heating is something that could’ve been warmer but overall a pleasant experience.
Good and nice place to staying. Little far away from center of Athlone 5-7 minutes walk but room not much big but service clean up everyday and kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven with TV. I recommend this place for staying. Only one small bad point is car park.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely place friendly helpful staff. We stayed in one of the self catering apartments just down the road from the main B&B. Everything we needed from cooker , microwave even washing machine. Coffee tea sugar provided. Fresh towels changed daily as well as bin emptying etc…..A large Tesco 5 minutes walk away meant shopping was easy. Also plenty takeaways close by. 5 to 10 mins walk into the centre around all the pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend this place .
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night. We arrived earlier than expected. Aoife was very accomodating in giving us an early check in. Breakfast was lovely. The woman who prepared our breakfast/room I'm so sorry, we didn't catch your name! on 08/06/2 was friendly and so welcoming. All in all, a great experience. Clean room and bathroom, friendly staff, free parking, delicious breakfast - what more can you ask for?
