Room small but clean.Good shower, easy to use. No toiletries supplied. These can be purchased at Reception. Receptionist helpful and polite. Breakfast self service with good choice of fruit/cereals/juices/eggs, bacon, hash browns etc. Tea/coffee served at table. Toast self made via toaster.Tasty choices at dinner with three sittings. 6.00 pm, 6.30 pm, 7.00 pm. Must book each day. Well stocked bar.

Very clean hotel room, very good location, service staffs are very friendly. Food in restaurant are great, We are happy to come back and stay here

Old and tired hotel. Needs a lot of refurbishment work. Windows are old sash windows that have flaky paint, and let in the draught. Bathroom in room 311 has old and rusty fittings. Room 311 is like something from a timewarp with old furniture. In fact the hotel should be shut down and given a serious overhaul. Shearings own this hotel and should be very ashamed of the state of it.

Just had a short stay at the carlton...this was our 20th visit to this hotel...we always have room 203 because of the seaview didnt go much on the food but then again I am a fussy eater the husband liked it...but staff were all nice especially Mickey who catered to our every needs ie..toilet rolls an milk😄..the new compere Paul was brilliant and got the crowd going and he had a lovely singing voice...all in all we recommend this hotel will deffo stay there again

Lovely hotel. Nice Rooms and Food. Staff work hard and are helpful and friendly.
