An old traditional pub with interesting features. It's host Garry was extremely helpfully and the breakfast was a days worth of food. The room was very clean and generously supplied with tea and coffee. The on suite was new and sparkling. We enjoyed our stay and being dog friendly Bella was spoilt. Would we stay here again. A big fat yes!!

Friendly service , but slow and not overly professional. We had the Sunday special roast, half a roast chicken with all the normal bits. Great price at £8.95 but the quality was reflected in this too. The chicken was cooked but skin was white and not crisp making it look at bit unappetising . Potatoes where aunt Bessie style as was the Yorkshire pudding. And the veg was a bit over but tasty. Overall it was a fair meal for a fair price but nothing to rave about. Would go back for a pint but not the food.

We stayed at the Prince of Wales pub during a 2 night trip to Bath to go to the Christmas Market. Both Gary & Kingsley were warm and friendly hosts. We ate in the pub on the first night and the food was typical pub food and delicious. Great breakfast and location as it is an easy journey into bath via local bus (£3 each way and the bus stop is literally outside the pub!) We were lucky enough to be there on the night of their 2nd anniversary of ownership so they had a private party which we were kindly given tickets for (fantastic party and it raised some much needed funds for a local hospice). Room 3 was spotlessly clean and had a superb view. Bathroom was also spotless and warm. All in all a fab weekend. We would love to come back to Bath again and stay at the Prince of Wales again soon

Friendly staff and quick service, food is cheap and cheerful. Don't go in with high expectations but food is reasonable for price. Roast for £8.95 half a chicken lots of veg, aunt Bessie's potatos. Good for a cheap meal.

Fantastic staff, fantastic food. All freshly cooked on site. The slow cooked pork was amazing, with gigantic portions... you will not leave this place hungry. Highly recommended
