Lovely country pub in a very lovely village. Good food and attentive service!

Atmosphere was great and food was gorgeous. Went for Sunday lunch and didn't have to wait long for food, portion size was large enough not to leave anyone hungry. I had pheasant Wellington for a main and parsnip soup for stater. It's well worth travelling for a meal here, one of my favorite places.

What a lovely setting and staff, that couldn't do enough for us. They opened up and let us in, then they were closed and setting out for the evening, as storm George was upon us. They were fully booked, but managed to squeeze us in. Then the food was out of this world.

Gorgeous little place in a gorgeous little village... Fabulous!

A lovely place to stay . Quiet peaceful and relaxing . Dog friendly NO restrictions. Plenty of inside and outside seating . Super garden area . Lots of parking . We stayed for 1 night and will be returning . Rooms were large and has a small mini bar and fridge . Iron and ironing board tea facilities and a good hairdryer . Lovely large shower . Super clean . We had pizza from there outside pizza oven was lovely . Good wine selection . Breakfast service was great food was lovely . Staff very friendly and attentive and love the 3 resident dogs .
