Absolutely beautiful house. The owners are very nice and friendly and made us very welcome. Lovely breakfast in a dining room overlooking garden. Love the cats and dog. Parking on site handy and can walk downhill to city in 15 mins. Get a cab or bus back up though if you are tired as it's steep enough.
What a wonderful welcome from two lovely people! Beautiful House, beautiful four poster bedroom with a lovely view, very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Full English breakfast or alternative croissants etc beautifully laid out and cooked just the way you like it!! Karen and Robert are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I have to say I have never been to a nicer Guest House or City. Thank you both so much for a lovely weekend. I feel so chilled now after such a wonder ful experience.
We stayed there for 2 nights. The place is run by a lovely couple that really welcome you in and make you feel at home. They were incredibly helpful and gave us a great list of restaurants to try, we went to two of them and they were both fantastic! The breakfast was a choice between full English or a salmon and egg. Both were great. With it was toast, yoghurt and fresh fruit & berries. Lactose intolerance options for everything as well. There were a couple of cats roaming the premises, dogs as well but we never saw them. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this place to anyone! :
Bloomfield house is a delightful place with really nice hosts that make you feel very welcome. Really enjoyed our stay as the place has brilliant character. Only slight quibble would be the room smelt a little old but otherwise absolutely perfect.
Bloomfield House is an exceptional, family run B & B just outside 15 min. walk the city center of the beautiful town of Bath. Guests can expect gracious hospitality, beautiful Georgian décor, spacious rooms and delicious full breakfasts. The family is extremely warm & welcoming, the house is pet friendly, and all the highlights of the city are easily accessible from the location. I would highly recommend the Bloomfield House to anyone planning a trip to Bath.
This was the first time we had stayed at Bloomfield House having previously opted for some of Baths more expensive accommodation. Lesson learned !!! I had clearly wasted money before as Bloomfield gave us everything we could have wanted and more. The whole house and rooms were clean warm and cosy, the owners were friendly and accommodating and clearly cared greatly about the comfort of their guests. Though we kept it to ourselves we had very recently experienced a very difficult time as a family and this short break was precisely what we needed and it was made very pleasant by the caring nature of the proprietors who coincidentally shared our own passion towards the protection of the environment for future generations.
Set in nice grounds within walking distance of the historic city centre, this guesthouse provides fine accommodation for the tourist and business person alike. The hosts are friendly and the nights are quiet. Highly recommended.
A perfect quiet location with a peaceful ambience, comfortable accommodation and a spectacular breakfast served in the morning. Sterling service, and completely overshadows 5 star hotels in the area. Would not stay anywhere else in Bath.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Bloomfield House. The couple that own the guest house couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast. Great location.
My girlfriend and I has an absolutely lovely time there. The room are cute and well decorated, the house is quiet and the couple who own the house is lovely. Their breakfast is amazing!
