As venues go, the location couldn't be better. Great security on the door and a very nice welcome. We were there a drag bingo event. The show was great, fun interactions and the drinks well made and poured. Would have been great to have had some table service in the bingo... I'd have spent more for sure! Also, the one thing that was a shame was the bar team packing up before the end... Made it feel I shouldn't drink more! Really enjoyable night though and we will be back.
One of the worst experience ever. The venue is nice but the security is arrogant, unprofessional, confrontational. The bouncers seem to enjoy threating customers, having no good manners at all. Their presence is not discreet and to some extent they force client to leave earlier since they make the place very unpleasant, confronting people for no reason. I have been there with some friends and we really did not feel welcomed there. I saw people being thrown out from the club for no reason, I have been followed by a member of the security in the bathroom just because he wanted to be sure I was not taking drugs or other stuff. Moreover, privacy is violated since they scan IDs without providing information on how they guarantee the security of the personal data, for how long they will store the data and other basic measures. The Prince of Disgrace.
Love the place! The terrace is amazing and the staff is simply perfect, they are so nice Marta is lovely. Wishing to come back to London in a few weeks to visit again. Highly recommended!
Disgusting service. No respect for guests. I ordered wine. The staff came to my table empty-handed and told me to go to the bar and pick up glasses and a bottle of wine myself. I had to go back and forth twice to pick up my order at this time the staff stood and looked at it. Really?!
Came here for breakfast on Saturday morning. It's still quiet and lovely great for large groups, service was very good and fast. Breakfast was decent and big , really liked the bread. Friday and Saturday evening soul2samba reggae 2 rock night looks interesting, will check that out next time! I've been to the roof top bar for a dub step night before , it was a bit grubby but I had an amazing time. I would rate it 4 stars for night outs.
Great venue with amazing terrace! Attended for Brixton Disco Festival and had a lit time! First dsco event ever went down a treat! With the reasonably priced drinks and full house gospel choir smashing their show, Saturday night was one for the books!
Love the layout of this club, particularly the rooftop part! Went to an event on a Friday night and was so pleased with how friendly and welcoming all the staff and security were. Made myself & my friends feel super comfortable and help us enjoy our night more. Only thing is drinks are a bit pricy!
Very disappointed over all. The sound was rubbish up top. Not enough bar staff, security rude and on a power trip. Landlord also rude and arrogant. The feeling I got was you pay to get in, they rip you off at the bar and once you are having fun and maybe a little drunk you are thrown out. Not the venue for me and definitely should of taken the advice from friend's and saved my money and spent it at another establishment. Won't be returning. But love Brixton
The roof top bar was a fantastic place to party on my sister’s hen do. It has a brilliant holiday vibe, as most of it is outside. We arrived quite early and had a private area, well worth investing in. Perfect for a group of hens! All the staff were really friendly including Gary the manager. As expected the venue was nice and chilled early on, but soon the dance floor was heaving! The DJs were on point, we had such a fun night, thanks to promoter Nick from Shabba Party!
Decent music and club layout, but the bouncers were really rude, impolite and aggressive, overheard one swearing about a group of us who were there. Will not be returning, as made me feel uncomfortable. That aside, prices were really high, but hey, it’s London…
